Spring Ahead!

Well...I am not great at the whole blogging thing but I will try to get better...I know everyone is on the edge of their seat waiting for a new post...ha! I am trying to think of a topic or something that I can keep up with and blog on that....stay tuned.

I gave up Facebook for the Lenten season this year...but don't fret....I will load pictures of Noah on my blog for all you loverly people who love my Noah bear!  In fact, as I sit and type I am watching him in his room on our video monitor...something about watching a baby sleep is just the sweetest thing.

It is getting late and I need some sleep! I will get better at my blogging...stay tuned. :o)

32 years ago...

Well, 32 years ago today...Jim and Cindy-the parentals had their very first date. Boy am I glad they did otherwise I might not be here!! Their first date was...get ready for it...to DISNEYLAND!!!(insert major "awwwww" here). My parents are such a cute and happy couple! They truly bless eachother and have made my life amazing. Way to go mom and dad!!!! I love you more than you could possibly know!!!!!

Well we are all awake over here in the Gartz house...Taylor left early this am to head to work and Noah and I soon followed suit by waking up. We danced to Elton John singing this morning on Regis and Kelly! We are soon going to get ready to head out to lunch with some very special ladies!! Gotta go tame this hair! Will write more later!

trying this again...

Ok everyone! I am going to attempt at this whole blogging thing yet again...so here goes!! Please be warned that the blogs will be much like my head...scattered. There is no rhyme or reason to the order of my ramblings so just deal with it.

A lot has happened since my last post! I am now a married woman...yes that's right. I married my best friend on December 18th, 2010 and could not be happier. We also have our little Noah who was born on July 24th, 2010 and he makes our lives just completely perfect. He is the sweetest and most precious gift from above!

On another note, this weather has got Texas confused! It has been so cold for way too long....we are ready for summer at the Gartz house!! Ready to put on those swimsuits and get that lovely summer glow!! So bring it on warm weather-where the heck are you!???? Recently we had a minor issue with our furnace and had to replace the whole thing. When I called to make the appt. with the City of Houston to come inspect it..the woman was so rude to me on the phone...here is our convo:

rude lady "City of Houston Mechanical Dept, how may I help?"

me: "Hi! We recently got a new furnace and I was not home when they came to inspect it, so I need to set up an..."

rude lady interrupts: (insert a 'I hate my job and I have a wedgie attitude') "Ma'am, first of all I can not hear you and second of all your are talking too fast. Now what are you saying and speak slower."
Well my friends, this is where I hung up. I proceeded to call back and got the same woman twice to which I hung up. I called back later on and got a nice elderly man who helped me and could understand me COMPLETELY. Thank goodness. Needless to say they will be here Friday between 10am and noon. Anyone want to place an over/under bet as to when they will actually get here to inspect it?? My guess is somewhere between 2pm and 4pm.

What else??? Oh, we are gearing up to begin painting our kitchen in the next few weeks in an attempt to get rid of what the family who lived here before liked...me?? not.so.much.

As I type, Noah is roaming around in his jeep. He loves riding around in that-and I have to add it is really cute to watch him...

Well that is all for now, I will write more later if something eventful happens....which the chances of that happening in our home and with Noah around...I will post soon.

I'm back

Okay kids....I am back to blogging! After several ladies telling me that I was behind...I am BACK! :) Hopefully I will have fun things to talk about...Ill write more later but just wanted to make Jessica and Lauren smile with me posting :)

Day 2 of blogging...

First of all I would like to say to the man that flipped me off today because I was going to slow...DID YOU NOT SEE THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME GOING SLOW AND THE CARS IN THE LANE NEXT TO ME??? I HAD NOWHERE ELSE TO GO! I don't like you or that middle finger, thank you very much. I do hope you got enough satisfaction in flipping off a 25 year old girl because you were well over 25.

I went to Taco Bell during lunch today and this guy was in front of me...I guess he was hungry too!



 
On another note, after the mishap yesterday at SeaWorld...my sympathies go out to the trainer and her family. However, this is why I don't care for zoos or Sea World...the animals should live in peace and have their freedom...not caged up. I will get off that soapbox for now though.
 
My day wasn't too eventful so this is a boring post...maybe more entertainment tomorrow!

let it begin....

In an effort to help everyone keep up with the goings on in my life(if you care) I have started a blog! Where to begin...I am 25 and marrying my best friend, Taylor in December and we are having a baby BOY in July! We have so many wonderful things happening in our lives right now and we are just so excited! We couldn't be happier or more blessed than we are right now! Thank you to all of our family and friends who are on this journey with us :)
As of now, we don't have a baby name picked out yet, but as soon as we do I will let you know!
